Here is my Manx. I spent most of the colder months last winter here in PA repairing the chassis. There was quite a bit of rust in the frame head, which required some repair pannels and quite a bit of welding. It seems my frame is a bit of a hybrid, the front half is Oval era vintage (no steering damper), and the rear is from a '65. The body number is M2206G832S. The red paint has a very subtle metalic in it. The car was blue in a previous life. Stock '65 vintage brakes all around, however I added a later dual circuit master for extra safety. The gearbox has extra spider gears, and was previously used in a drag car back in the 80's. The engine is stock (except for the Manx exhaust) single port 1600, that I had kicking around the garage. So far I have only taken it to one show (Punch Buggy 07), but it has recieved much praise. The buggy was a mess when I got it. It was a great feeling building a car up from a bare chassis. Future upgrades include a Manx roll bar, and better seat belts. I had a great time driving it this summer, and can't wait for the warmer weather to get here to run it some more.
