Jim Nuss Judy and I (64 years young) are from Oquawka, IL. (POP 1400), on the Mississippi River. This is our first VW project and they are seldom seen in our immediate area. It is built on a 1961 frame and the body is unknown. I have looked at hundreds of pics on the internet but have yet to see another one. It is powered by a 1776 and all parts are new. The project would not have been completed without help from our friends, M&M Customs’ (Local paint shop), Julian at BFY, and members of the Manx Club. Thanks to all. Hope you enjoy our ride as much as we do. It is a head turner in this area, brings a smile from all, and is popular at local car shows. |
