It is 1 of approximately 350 "Bugetta" dune buggys produced by Jerry Eisert in the late 60's and demonstrates his indy car construction. This car has the original blue metal flake gel coat finish and has only 3300 miles on it. The engine is a "pumped up" 140 hp corvair and has a 4-speed transmission. It features 4 one-barrel Rochester carbs. Front suspension is an independent upper/lower a-arm, heim jointed ends, coilovers and rack and pinion. Rear is all corvair. It has a complete monocoque aluminum chassis with front and rear tube frames for the 4-wheel independent suspension. We have only been able to track down 6 other Bugettas in existance today.
We purchased this car from Jim Clarke in St. Louis, MO last year - it's sooooo much fun to drive!
