Hi, This is my 1960 meyers manx buggy. It is a genuine manx and been verified.
It took me 1 year to build. It was a full ground up restoration as it was a real dump when i bought it.
Chassis was fully stripped and sandblasted back to bare metal.
It features a 1600 engine with oversized pistons, ported heads. Twin 40mm webers,Dual cannon exhaust, Electronic ignition, alternator conversion and so much chrome that you need sunglasses to look at it.
Front brakes received a disc brake upgrade with cross drilled disc rotors. Wheels are 22inch chrome CV2's at the rear and 20 inch at the front. The tyres received a nice thin yellow wall just to match the body.
Full custom rockford fosgate stereo system which pretty much put the thought of having a backseat, non-existent.
The body was resprayed in bright yellow with a touch of metallic glitter. Front received some harley davidson indicators and rear light received the clear treatment with LED globes.
Dash is brand new with the extra radio console to house the stereo perfectly. All gauges are white faced which look really great.
This thing attracts more attention than a ferrari. I can't even take it to the corner shop without getting pulled up and asked if they can take a photo of the car. Its a real head turner.
It took alot of sweat and headaches and loooong late nights, but it was well worth it.
Hope you like my modern day "PIMPED" version of your great design Bruce!!!
Thanks for checking out my MANX.
