The complete Manx II kit was purchased in 1971 and installed on a low mileage 1969 VW IRS chassis. Soon after completion, the car was put in dry storage until 2001. I purchased the car from the original owner in 2002. Over the last three years I have made many detail improvements to enhance appearance and drivability.

The Manx, powered by a Weber carbureted 2006cc Gene Berg engine, is in amazing condition. It still retains the original gel coat finish and includes the wheels, seats, and roll bar that came in the kit. I also have the original top, bumpers, and skid plate. Since conversion, the Manx has been driven 5,000 miles with only 2,000 miles on the engine. The chassis recently turned 33,000 miles.

Being light, low, and powerful, performance is remarkable and it is terrific fun to drive. The styling certainly gathers lots of attention.

Thank you Bruce for designing such a great car.
