My father and I built this dune buggy 3 years ago. I bought the buggy off of a guy that had started it and we ended up finishing it up that summer. The yellow color is the original paint from when the buggy was bought. We put on amber fog lights, amber fire sticks on the rear of the buggy and along the sides of the buggy. Also we put some orange neon lights The rims came with the buggy. The chassis is a tube frame Berrien buggy chassis. It has independent rear suspension. It has a stock1600 Volkswagen engine. We bought remanufactured 65 style ford mustang taillights. The pin stripping was done from a family friend and the Tweety bird on the front is completely freehanded. I have a hearst shifter with standard transmission. The pan is also Berrien buggy and is fiberglass. We put in a custom back seat and a Sony cd player. We like to call it Tweet Thing.
