My buggy is titled as a 69 buggy, but the kingpin front and swing axle rear show otherwise.powered by a 1500 SP, I don't have the need to replace cause it just runs so well,at least for a vw. When I started looking to find a buggy I didn't realize how hard they are to find in the northwest, but I finally found one that I thought was so different from everything else i've seen, because of the front end, I had to get it. I drove about 50 miles in middle of winter to get it home. then I started to take apart, clean, replace, and fix it up. The guy who had it before me went on a hole drilling rampage, mounting things here, and there, and anywhere. So after putting on entire new brake system, countless hours of bodywork, primer, painting, shiny new wheels and tires, 94 civic seats, carpet, suspension work, motor tuning, and lots of greeenies, I finally have my fun buggy. It turned out pretty good for my first car project. thanks for looking, and enjoy the fun of the best vehicle ever.
