This is my original Meyers Manx on a 1967 swing axle frame. I bought it in Texas and drove 32 hours straight to pick it up. We pulled a car trailer all the way (about1800 miles round trip from where I live) to load it onto. We put about $500 into my dad's 89 Chevy 4x4 Truck, which had 250,000 miles, to get it to make the trip. We stopped only for gas and other necessities because I didn't want anything to happen to it while it was parked overnight. Since then I have done a ton of work to it to get it to where it is today. I drive it as often as I can (even at 40 degrees and misting) and the people of my home town just love to see it out. I first became fond of the Manx at an early age because my grandparents have one very similar to the one that I bought. My Manx has a 1600 DP engine that is stock except for the camshaft, a Transform transmission with gear reduction, 15" tires, and chrome Baja rims. Most of all I like to take my buggy to the lake for cruising to the beach. I hope others enjoy them as much as I do because I think that they are priceless.
