Attached are pictures of my Porsche-Manx that I have owned for 30+ years. The only VW parts are the gas tank and windshield wipers. All other components -- seats, instruments, transmission, brakes, etc. -- came from a wrecked 1962 Porsche Super 90. The frame is custom made tube. My Manx started life autocrossing in Washington D.C. and set many FTDs. I retired it several years ago and still have the original soft top and side curtains which are in excellent shape. The green and yellow paint scheme is in honor of Jim Clark, the late Formula 1 driver.
